We spend a lot of time and effort looking after our physical health, making sure we eat healthily and do plenty of exercise, but do we spend as much effort to look after our Mental Health and Wellbeing?
Mental health, also called emotional health or wellbeing is just as important as good physical health. Being mentally healthy is more than just the absence of a mental illness. If we are in good mental health, we can:
- make the most of our potential
- cope with life
- play a full part in our family, workplace, community and among friends
Mental health is everyone’s business. We all have times when we feel down or stressed or frightened. Most of the time those feelings pass, but sometimes they develop into a more serious problem and that could happen to any one of us.
It’s important to take care of ourselves and get the most from life.
Do you need some guidance on how to relax and learn simple strategies to support your own wellbeing? If yes, why not join us to find simple ways of improving your mental health to help you cope with the stresses of everyday life.
Please join us at our wellbeing workshop which will give you some practical tips on how to look after your own wellbeing. Making simple changes to how you live doesn’t need to cost a fortune or take up loads of time. Anyone can follow this advice. Why not pop along and see!
