General Class info/introduction:

Welcome to Snowdrops Class! We are a class of mixed aged children from Nursery up to Year 1. We have lots of fun learning both indoor and outdoor, and we particularly love messy play!

Our Topic this term is ‘Out and About’. We are learning about all sorts of different environments. These include Mini-Beasts – looking at all things creepy crawly!; In the Garden – including planting and growing seeds; Under the Sea – investigating creatures that live in the ocean; In the Jungle – looking at jungle animals; Ponds and Gardens – what sort of animals live in a pond?

This terms topic also includes farm animals. We will be having lots of fun learning about farm animals by reading stories, singing songs and rhymes about animals. We also have a range of creative activities planned with a farm theme. We are also going to be exploring what types of pets we have. It would be lovely if you could send in a photo of your family pet, if you have any, so that your child can use this as part of their learning in school.

As you can see, we plan to be very busy!
