Post Title: Class Teacher – Primary Provision You may be required to work at our secondary provision in the future.

Post Location: Primary School: We have two primary sites based in Crayford and Sidcup. Secondary School: Our secondary provision is based in Belvedere.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours/Weeks: Full-time/52 weeks per year

Salary: Salary will depend on experience and qualifications. Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale Plus SEND allowance

Post Start Date: 1 st January 2026 or earlier for the right candidate.

About the Role

We are seeking to recruit inspirational and innovative Teachers for our expanding School.

The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate our students and lead a dedicated class team to encourage progression and happiness for our students. If you are a qualified teacher (experience is desirable but not essential) and have experience of teaching in a SEND setting (experience is desirable but not essential) then Shenstone School may be a good fit for your next teaching adventure!

Qualifications/Experience required:

● Qualified teacher with QTS (experience is desirable but not essential).

● Evidence of CPD relevant to SEND

● Experience in a special school setting (experience is desirable but not essential).

Post Title: Midday Supervisors – Secondary Provision

Post Location: Secondary School (Primary Sites: 94 Old Road, Crayford, DA1 4DZ St Andrews Road, Sidcup, DA14 4RX Secondary: Halt Robin Road, Belvedere, DA17 6DW) Please be aware that although you are normally assigned to one site, you may be asked to work at any of our sites. This ultimately depends on where vacancies occur and operational feasibility.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours/Weeks: 5 days per week (10 hours) (11:40 a.m. – 1:40 p.m.) 38 weeks per year (term time + training days) Please be advised that successful candidates may be required to undertake 3 days staff training (potentially requiring additional hours) within their first 6 weeks of employment. 1 day will be for induction and 2 consecutive days will be for PRICE Training. We also advise that on staff training/inset days (school calendar accessible via the school website) additional hours could also be required so that relevant training is achieved. If relevant, this will be discussed further at interview.

Grade: Bexley 04 (£15.25 per hour)

Salary: £6,633 (Actual) £28,617 (full-time equivalent)

About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, engaging and reliable candidates to join our fantastic and dedicated midday team at Shenstone School. You will be required to supervise pupils during the lunchtime period with such things as: collecting/helping pupils choose their lunch, helping with cutting up/feeding where necessary, initiating and participating in games/activities, toileting/changing and being aware/protecting their safety and wellbeing.

If you are looking for a challenge and are able to support and encourage our amazing pupils with SEND to achieve their full potential in our specialist school setting, then we would welcome your application. The achievements of our pupils are extraordinary and will give you a sense of achievement when they make progress, however small.

It is paramount that you feel confident and resilient in working with pupils with challenging behaviour. As individuals, each pupil presents with different abilities and behavioural needs which vary from child to child.

Post Location: Primary & Secondary School

Contract Type: Permanent or Relief Zero hours contract (Please specify if you are interested in Permanent or Relief on your application form)

Hours/Weeks: 5 days per week (30 hours) (9:00 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.) 39 weeks per year (term time + training days) Please be advised that successful candidates may be required to undertake 3 days staff training (potentially requiring additional hours) within their first 6 weeks of employment. 1 day will be for induction and 2 consecutive days will be for PRICE Training. We also advise that on staff training/inset days (school calendar accessible via the school website) additional hours could also be required so that relevant training is achieved. Grade: Bexley 05 (£15.68 per hour)

Salary: £21,006 (Actual) £29,436 (full-time equivalent)
