Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 8 February 2022

We supported Safer Internet Day on 8 February.

From gaming and chat, to streaming and video, young people are shaping the interactive entertainment spaces they are a part of. Safer Internet Day 2022 celebrated young people’s role in creating a safer internet, whether that is whilst gaming and creating content, or interacting with their friends and peers.

If you would like any symbols you feel will support your child online, then please let your class teacher know and we will get some sent out to you.

2022 School Journey for Year 6 pupils

We were very excited to have offered a 1 night residential trip on Thursday 19th May – Friday 20th May to Hindleap Warren Outdoor Centre in Surrey.

The children who attended got to experience an exciting programme of activities suited specifically to them. Hindleap Warren have extensive experience in working with pupils with learning difficulties and regularly have schools like ours attend residential trips. Not only did the children get to experience the fantastic activities but they also gained some independence by sleeping away from home for the night. The children were accompanied by a high pupil/adult ratio of Shenstone school staff as well as having the centre’s own staff dedicated to support our group.
